Best4IPTV is an IPTV player application only. We do not provide, host, or distribute any IPTV content, subscriptions, or streaming services. Users are solely responsible for the content they access through their own IPTV service providers.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
- IPTV Server Credentials: Server URLs, usernames, and passwords (encrypted and stored locally on your device)
- User Preferences: Language settings, theme preferences, playback settings
- Favorites and History: Channels you mark as favorites and viewing history (stored locally)
1.2 Automatically Collected Information
- Device Information: Device model, operating system version, app version
- Usage Statistics: Watch time, content types viewed (stored locally for analytics)
- Location Data: Approximate location for weather feature (optional, can be disabled)
1.3 Information We DO NOT Collect
- ❌ Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
- ❌ Browsing history outside the app
- ❌ Contact lists or other personal data
2. How We Use Your Information
Data handling: We do not transmit your IPTV server credentials (URLs, usernames, passwords), favorites, or viewing history to our servers; these remain on your device. However, the app communicates with certain third‑party services to provide features, including Google AdMob (ads), Google User Messaging Platform (consent), Google Cast (optional), and an IP‑based geolocation service to display approximate weather when location permission is not granted.
Purposes:
- Functionality: To provide IPTV playback and recording features
- Personalization: To remember your preferences and settings
- Analytics: To improve app performance (all analytics are local)
- Weather Feature: To display local weather information (optional)
3. Data Security
- Encryption: Server credentials are encrypted using Android's Security Crypto library
- Local Storage: All data is stored locally on your device
- No Cloud Sync: No cloud synchronization or external backups
- Data Deletion: Data is deleted when you uninstall the app
4. Permissions Explained
Required Permissions:
- INTERNET: Required to stream IPTV content from your service provider
- WAKE_LOCK: Prevents device from sleeping during playback
Optional Permissions:
- LOCATION: Used only for the weather feature. If permission is denied, the app may derive an approximate location via IP to display weather. You can disable the weather feature from the app settings to stop using GPS and IP-based location.
- STORAGE: Used for recording feature (required only if you use recording)
- NOTIFICATIONS (Android 13+): Used for recording notifications and program reminders; requires user consent on Android 13 and above
- Advertising ID (AD_ID): Used by Google Mobile Ads SDK for ad delivery (e.g., frequency capping, fraud prevention). We do not use it for purposes outside advertising. You can reset the Advertising ID from your device settings.
5. Your Rights
- Access: View all your data in app settings
- Delete: Clear all data from app settings or uninstall the app
- Export: Export server configurations and favorites
- Disable: Turn off optional features (location, notifications)
6. Children's Privacy
Best4IPTV is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. The app includes parental controls to restrict content access.
7. Content Responsibility
- Users are solely responsible for the content they access
- Users must ensure they have legal rights to access their IPTV service
- We do not endorse, support, or encourage piracy or copyright infringement
- We do not provide IPTV subscriptions or content
8. Third-Party Services
- Google AdMob: For displaying ads in free version
- Google User Messaging Platform (UMP): For collecting and managing user consent for ads in applicable regions (e.g., GDPR/EEA)
- Google Cast: For Chromecast functionality (optional)
- ExoPlayer: For media playback (no data collection)
- IP Geolocation (ip-api.com): To derive approximate location via IP for the weather feature when location permission is not granted.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you by updating the "Last Updated" date and displaying a notice in the app.
10. Monetization
10.1 Advertising
- Free and ad-supported: Best4IPTV is completely free and supported by advertising to keep the service free for everyone.
- Ads: The app displays ads from Google AdMob.
- Placement: Banner ads may appear on the Home screen. Interstitial ads may appear between safe navigation actions and are never shown during video playback or on Back/Exit.
- Ad Frequency: Interstitials appear intermittently during navigation and are never shown during video playback or when you press Back/Exit.
- Advertising ID (AD_ID): Used by the Google Mobile Ads SDK for ad delivery (e.g., frequency capping, fraud prevention). You can reset or limit ad personalization in your device settings.
- Ad Data Collection: AdMob may collect device information (e.g., device identifiers, IP address) to provide ads according to its privacy policy.
- Ad Partners: Google AdMob
Note: Advertising data is collected by Google AdMob according to their privacy policy. We do not have access to this data.
11. Consent and Choices (GDPR/EEA)
- Consent Tool: In applicable regions, the app uses Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request your consent for personalized or non‑personalized ads.
- Your Options: You may choose personalized ads, non‑personalized ads, or opt out where applicable. When you choose non‑personalized ads, we pass the appropriate signals (e.g., NPA) to AdMob.
- Change Your Choice: You can revisit consent from the app’s settings (when available) or reset the consent form by clearing app data.
